August has flown by and we’ve been especially excited to spot some of our customers racing Walford Crankshafts out on track.

Brands Hatch Mini Festival

Congratulations to Damien Harrington, Aaron Smith, Ian Curley and Ryan Taylor at the Mini Festival at Brands Hatch, among those running Walford lightweight crankshafts, making the most of every bit of performance on track.

Andrew Windmill - CSCC Tintops series

With a minor issue with the gearbox meaning a premature finish in the first round of the CSCC TinTop Series at Silverstone, that didn’t stop Andrew Windmill from giving a great performance in round 2 at Donington, netting a second overall and a second in Class A.

Heading back to Silverstone for round three, but on the national circuit this time, Andrew qualified in 2nd just 0.5 seconds behind pole. Taking the lead from the start, he didn’t look back, bringing home the first win of the season! 🏆

An unlucky qualifying in 11th at Snetterton, round 4, but by the end of lap 1 the Civic Type R was up to 4th, quickly making its way up to 2nd. A chaotic pit stop may have cost 20 seconds, but by the end it was only a few seconds between Windmill and the winner in another EP3. A 3rd overall and 2nd in Class A for round 4.

A great first half of the season, and we’re looking forward to what’s coming up for the rest of the year.

We wish Andrew the best of luck in the next round at Thruxton 🏁
