Parametric Custom Crankshaft Design

All of Walford Crankshafts' designs are parametrically modelled which means we can create a ‘family’ of designs. With this system, we can very easily change the counterweight information and bearing sizes which allows us to tailor designs for specific applications. 

The Coventry Climax FPF 2.5 Litre historic F1 4-cylinder crankshaft, pictured above, is a good example of this, where we removed 9 kgs while retaining the correct dynamics.
