Our MGB Phase 1 crankshaft is low inertia without sacrificing counterweighting. These military grade EN40B crankshafts are lighter than a standard crank even with 8 counterweights, having been designed primarily for motorsport. We also have a 3 bearing version for early B series.

These crankshafts are designed for racing applications and have oil ways altered to optimise oil flow. Main bearing shells on number 2 and 4 need oil grooves adding. See drawing included, contact us if clarification is required.
